New to The Shops at Nanuet
Where: 5101 Fashion Drive.
What’s it about?: Eight new stores and restaurants will open at The Shops at Nanuet this spring and summer.
When: First to open, on Friday, will be Depo House, a home décor, furniture and rug store. On Monday, Eden Nail and Spa opens offering manicures and pedicures as well as waxing services. On April 21, Ideal Image, a “personal aesthetic and wellness service” will open.
Also opening this spring, though they don’t have official opening dates, are Portabella, a clothing and shoe store for all ages and genders, and Saba Rugs & Flooring, offering “hand knotted rugs” as well as rug cleanings and repair.
Coming this summer will be Sombrero Tacoria, a Mexican restaurant. Listed as coming soon, with no official opening dates, are Buffalo Wild Wings, where customers can find burgers, wings, and more, as well as financial consulting agency Fidelity Investments.

Enterprise Truck Rental, Mount Vernon
Where: 770 South Columbus Ave.
When: March 7.
What’s it about?: New to Mount Vernon, Enterprise Truck Rental is a branch of Enterprise Rent-A-Car. The Mount Vernon location allows customers to rent cargo vans, tow-capable pickup trucks, and box trucks. The location will serve customers throughout Westchester as well as The Bronx.

Business: White Plains DMV closed; temporary offices have opened in Tarrytown
Pedra Rustica U.S., Croton-on-Hudson
Where: 1360 Albany Post Road.
When: Opened in February.
What’s it about?: Pedra Rustica U.S., a wholesale importer of stone, recently opened a showroom in Croton-on-Hudson. It offers “custom orders” for mostly outdoor products including garden accents such as statuary as well as facades, gates, and more. At La Brazza, part of Pedra Rustica U.S.’ showroom, features wood ovens, grills, fire pits, and more. The business imports products from South America and Europe. ROAM Further Athletics, Mount Kisco
Where: 333 North Bedford Rd.
When: Opened in January.
What’s it about?: ROAM Further Athletics is a new obstacle-based fitness facility within Mount Kisco’s Grand Prix building. It offers classes, one-on-one classes, camps and more in a “Ninja Warrior” style facility.There are “Roam Free” sessions for adults with more experience in parkour. along with team building sessions. There are a variety of classes for kids of all ages, as well.
The facility also has its own coffee bar and a space that class attendees can relax and get together before and after classes.
ROAM Further Athletics is open Monday through Friday 9:15 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.; Saturday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; and Sunday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. For more information, go to roamfurther.com.
